Kindle 3 two-column view?
ALLOW_TWO_COLUMN_VIEW is mentioned in some other threads - has anyone figured how to make it work?
Any other hack or info on how to enable this? Shorter lines allow for much faster reading. One can increase the margins - HORIZONTAL_MARGIN in reader.pref, but then half of the screen remains unused. Thanks in advance! |

If it works, I'd bet it only appears while in landscape format, i.e. rotated.

It doesn't. The only effect it has is the one column of text is rendered on the left side when 'words per line' is set to 'fewest'. This happens in both screen orientations. As if the second column would not fit and the reader decides to abandon it. An unfinished feature.
