Gotta pick a color for my 300.....silver or dark blue?? Will either make a difference as far as how the contrast effects the type on the page? Kinda leaning to blue.....

Go with your gut on color. Some say the color of the outside bezel affects the contrast but with the 300's already good contrast I don't think you'll see any difference between blue and silver. I've seen both colors and are both very nice.

I actually went and ordered the blue one. I played with the silver one at Target, and although it's pretty nice, theres still some amount of brightness or light glare if you will, which might prove to be a little pain in the long run.

Just be aware if you're not already, the Blue is more purple than blue! The plastic on the sides is definitely purple, the front is debatable...

I like my silver one. The blue just seems to stand out more when you're trying to read.

True. Not to mention that the contrast is the same on all of them the color of the unit affecting contrast is only an optical illusion. The specs are the same on all them be they silver, pink or blue.

If it doesn't come in RED then go with blue.

For what its worth, a darker bezel does seem to make a difference, at least for me.
