Rule of thumb-- never stand on a wombat.
"Unfortunately the gentleman stood on the wombat and the wombat proceeded to get rather nasty..."
Well, wouldn't you? http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2...06/2865005.htm |

I have to admit though that living in the US and never having seen a real wombat (in person)there is certain amount of humor to this story - especially given the relative cuteness of the alleged attacker. |

Cute is just a form of camouflage. It's how Nature thins out idiots. Humans have been attacked by deer, rabbits, koalas, kangaroos, parakeets, hamsters, dolphins and assorted monkeys. There are reports of a pack of chipmunks attacking pets and people on Long Island. I find the whole thing incredibly funny. Go Wombats!

If you think a wombat is cute - have a look at a koala. And then imagine this: a former employee of my husband came to work one morning with both his legs scratched (rather deep and nasty scratches too). Upon asking what happened, he said that on the way home last nite he came across a koala on the road. He stopped and thought that he wanted to save the koala so it doesn't get killed (happens unfortunately too often). So he got out of the car and proceeded to pick the koala up to carry it to the side of the road. Seems like he picked the wrong side of the road as the koala attacked him. Moral of the story: ask the koala which side of the road he wants to go to |

LOL!!!
The little guy wouldn't look so cute with a few human fingers in its mouth. Hmm, it sort of reminds me of Mr. Mago |
