gesucht: freie ebook Klassiker die es bei Gutenberg nicht gibt ?
Hallo
Kennt ihr Internet-Seiten wie die beiden Gutenberg Projekte ? Ich suche zur Zeit das Buch Pinocchio von Carlo Collodi, aber weder beim internationalen, noch beim deutschen Gutenberg Projekt finde ich dieses Buch. Der Autor ist bereits 1890 gestorben, also sollte das Buch wohl puplic domain sein. Mit Google habe ich auch nix hilfreiches gefunden. Ich hab Pinocchio zwar als Papierbuch, noch aus meiner Kindheit, also scannen wäre kein Problem - aber wenn jemand das vielleicht schon erledigt hätte ... Und auch sonst gibt es noch ein paar Bücher, bei denen der Autor Mitglied im Ü70 Club ist, die ich aber bei den Gutenbergs noch nicht finden konnte. |

Laut Wikiepdia wurde das Buch 1905 das erste Mal ins Deutsche übersetzt und unter den Namen Hippeltitsch's Abenteuer und Das hölzerne Bengele veröffentlicht. Erst seit 1948 wird das Buch auch mit dem Namen Die Abenteuer des Pinocchio übersetzt. Also bleiben einem für die Online-Suche nach gemeinfreiem Material nur die beiden oben genannten Titel Hippeltitsch's Abenteuer und Das hölzerne Bengele. Aber auch hier konnte ich nach kurzer Online-Recherche leider nichts finden. Aber vielleicht helfen Dir die beiden Titel bei einer etwas genaueren Suche.

Gute Frage. Ein Übersetzter selbst wird nicht erwähnt. Es heißt aber "Bearbeitung: Anne Busch". Das könnte sich natürlich aber auch aufs Layout beziehen. Ich werd mal nach Anne Busch googeln, aber wenn jemand so schon mehr über sie weiß, immer her mit den Infos ...
Danke schon mal für den Tip. Ich hab übrigens auch was bei Amazon gefunden: Da kann man in das Buch reingucken und die Copyright Seite lesen. Dort heißt es: neu bearbeitet von Maria Czedik Eysenberg (c) 1990, 2002. Dieses Buch ist allerdings nach der neuen Rechtschreibung geschrieben. |

Danke soweit. Ich werd mich mal registrieren und dann seh ich mir das Buch dort mal richtig an.
Beim kurzen drübergucken habe ich aber schon gemerkt, daß mein Papierbuch eine andere Übersetzung ist. Das ist echt interessant, den bei Scribd steht dabei, daß es die Übersetzung von 1956 ist (die Erstauflage des Buchs ist aber von 1988), während mein Papierbuch aber von 1972 ist ... Auf jeden Fall ist das Buch bei Scribd dann nicht gemeinfrei. Der Übersetzter müßte seit 70 Jahren tot sein, also selbst wenn er direkt nach der Übersetzung des Buchs gestorben wäre, wäre er immer noch 16 Jahre weg vom Ü70 Club. Er ist aber erst 1994 gestorben, also wird seine Übersetzung erst 2064 gemeinfrei, dann bin ich 89 ... Ich glaub ich verschieb dieses Projekt erstmal auf unbestimmte Zeit. Und am besten konzentriere ich mich erstmal auf deutsche Autoren, da fällt die Suche nach dem Übersetzter weg. |

Scribd ist ähnlich wie Youtube - man findet viel dort (auch viel Müll). Aber mit den Urheberrechten nimmt man es dort nicht genau. Offensichtlich gibt es da wie dort keine Kontrollen diesbezüglich. So hab ich z.B. die gesamte "Anhalter"-Reihe von Douglas Adams dort gefunden. Qualität schwankt sehr stark, ein paar mal sind durchaus brauchbare Dinge dort (mit üblichen OCR-Fehlern), andere Male grottenschlecht.
Ich hab mir dann die Papier-Sammelausgabe gekauft. Und, wie ich hinzufügen muss, nicht bereut. |

Wenn man das Angebot an Bücher in englischer Sprache sieht, kann einen der blanke Neid packen.
Ausser bei Gutenberg (DE + .org) und Zeno kann man auch bei Wikisource fündig werden. Manybooks und Feedbooks.com haben auch ein paar deutsche Bücher, meist kommen die von Gutenberg. Wenn man sich die Mühe machen will: manchmal findet man auch bei Google freie deutsche Bücher, die Textversionen sind allerdings meistens konvertierte Scans, die sich niemand mehr angesehen hat. Es gibt hier bei Mobileread ein Wiki, in dem viele mögliche Fundstellen aufgelistet sind. All |
