Accessing internal and SD Storage
I love OpenInkpot except for one thing.
SSH Yuck!!!! I would hope that as the firmware is developed the programmers will implement direct plug-in recognition of the internal and SD card. The original Hanlin V3 firmware does this, so it cannot be impossible. Does anyone know if this is planned for the near future? Regards, Roger |

Remember, at 0.2, OpenInkpot is still very much in development. SSH lets the developers open a terminal to check what's going on inside the device, and SCP lets them copy new versions of programs into the device. Oh, yeah, the debugger app works over ssh, too. That's a pretty big advantage for using ssh, even if it does make life a little harder for user testers. (You do know you are a tester for OI, don't you?)
