Sony 600 or 700 M-Edge cover for 505?

I'm thinking of purchasing a M-Edge Executive Jacket from the online store and get it shipped to Australia. Trouble is they don't sell the 505 cover anymore, so I was thinking I'd go for the 600 or 700 cover. Among the two covers, which would be a better fit for the 505? Cheers. :)

if you look on ebay and search worldwide you can still get the covers. I dont know if the others would fit but here is a link to one seller

Everything I've been reading is that the 600 is the better match to the 505 size-wise, rather than the 700.

I'd email M-Edge and ask them. They're pretty responsive.

Update:
I got the new cover for the 600 today - it fits like a glove and is way lighter than the wedge-cover.
reading in the dark with the swan / Gooseneck lamp is way better than with the edge because the edge makes the text blury.
The gooseneck seems to be a bit flimsy - will see today at home, wheather i can fasten it with some tools.
after the first couple of minutes - i like it a lot, but the feel of the leather og the edge cover feels softer than the gooseneck cover (btw - it smells a lot like --> leather)

I'm kinda in the same boat (at least I hope I am after Christmas). I emailed m-edge, and here is the response I got:

"The Sony PRS-505 will fit in some of the Sony PRS-600 jackets. Here is the breakdown for you:

Executive, Go!, Platform, Touring Sleeve – Very good fit

Leisure – Good fit

Latitude – Marginal fit"

Hope that helps!

I bought a 700 M-Edge executive cover from Amazon.com for my 505. They were $14.99 vs. $24.99 for the 505 cover. It's working fine for me. The straps go over the corners at a slightly different angle and the bottom corners seem a little bigger but I've been using it for over a month and shook it good when I first put it in the cover and it seems plenty secure. You would probably be fine with either.
