database locked after crash
I had my system crash (mac 10.14), and when I restart calibre, it says "database is corrupt", details shows it's a database lock. I'm having it rebuild the database, but wondering if I can remove the lock somehow. Normally, a process id is saved in a lock file so the app can check to see if the lock is still valid or not - would be nice if calibre did that too...

calibre doesnt lock the database file. That would be sqlite, and sqlite does not leave stale locks after a crash as far as I know.

Is this a LOCAL (attached to the computer) Hard Drive?
Calibre does not support any kind of network attached drive. |
