Seht, das ist Amanda Leyer,
Köchin bei Frau Knödelmayer.
Eine Köchin ist meist dick,
Weil sie nie das schlechtste Stück
Von dem Braten sich erwählt
Und ihr auch nicht Butter fehlt.
Die Amanda Leyer doch
Geht durch jedes Nadelloch.

Dünn wie ’n Faden ist sie nämlich,
Dabei von Charakter grämlich.
Denn nur Dicke sind gemütlich,
Und die Magern wenig friedlich.
Schon die Nase lang und spitz
Und des Mundes breiter Schlitz,
Dessen Winkel abwärts neigen,
Deutlich die Gemütsart zeigen.
