Custom Columns

Can someone look at the attached screenshots and tell me what I'm doing wrong when setting up the custom columns for Video and Hardcopy?

I'd like them to look "laddered" like they do under Genre - That is

Genre
-- Business
--- Business Building
----- How To

For some reason when I tried setting up the same group/subgroups for Video and Hard Copy it came out

Business.Business Building.How To

SShot #1 is the Column view and SShot #2 is how I created the columns. I know that under "Type" the formatting is different for Hard Copy and Video but it's the same for Genre and Video so that doesn't seem to be a factor.

@docmartn - you need to include the Hard Copy and Video columns in the Preferences->Look and Feel->Categories with hierarchical columns list.

But why do you want Hard Copy and Video to be separate hierarchical categories, why not rely on the formats or use a tag like custom column (Media: Audio, Ebook, Hard Copy, Video, Game...) and use existing Genre column.
