Comments in the Cover Browser?
Hi all,
is it possible to see the Comments (or any metadata for that matter) in the Cover Browser? For example, while hovering the mouse over the cover? |

No, you cannot see other metadata. IMO having tooltips in the cover browser would look pretty ugly.

What happens if you select 'Show book details' You might also want to check Preferences->Keyboard->Show book details BR |

Well I thought the above would be OK. But it doesn't work as I expected, the 'carousel' gets moved to the right sidebar. I'm not sure how its supposed to work but IMO that configuration (narrow and full screen carousel) is a bit odd - in terms of what it does. But it works OK with User Interface layout set to Wide, the book details will be displayed on the right. You can control what columns get displayed in the Preferences->Look and Feel->Book Details tab... BR Last edited by BetterRed; 05-27-2015 at 06:30 PM. |

If the Book Details panel appeared under the carousel when in Narrow mode, as I assumed it would, then the OP could deselect all the not-required columns in Look & Feel. I also note that Brown Book and Black Arrow icons swap positions when Narrow mode is selected - which is also a bit odd. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 05-27-2015 at 10:07 PM. |
