Great news. I think the only problem with DMFC's is that the fuel cell rection still produces a small amount of carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas that leads to global warming. Imagine your notebook needing an exhaust

On a related note, an news article on infosync world (http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/5045.html) heralds hope for better battery life in the near future for phones and other portable peripherals like PDAs and notebooks due to a new chip design which is more power efficient, providing up to 10 times more effective use of current batteries...
