Misc UK ePub Bargains

A thread for us non-Kindle owners here in old Blighty

Google seem to be have reduced the prices of Picador's 40th Anniversary Editions of eBooks:

https://play.google.com/store/search...r+40th&c=books

Some good stuff there, including "American Psycho" for £1.99, and "All the Pretty Horses" and "White Noise" for £2.99.

Speaking of Don Delillo, Kobo are selling "Underworld" for just £1.00:

http://www.kobobooks.com/ebook/Under...1hQ/page1.html

booksonboard.com seem to have dropped their prices on the RSC Shakespeare eBooks, making them about a pound cheaper than their nearest competitors although personally, I'm tempted to wait and see if Kobobooks ever get them in stock so I can get them with a discount code I can't link to them all directly due to the silly way their site works, but search for "Eric Rasmussen" on http://www.booksonboard.com/set_country/?c=gb . (Update 27/3/12 - these have gone up by about 50p, but still seem to be the best value I've seen).

Google Play are also doing a "Play Dead" promotion focussing on the undead, including the acclaimed (albeit naffly titled) "The Last Werewolf" for £1.99:

https://play.google.com/store/books/...feature=banner

They also have Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" for £2.99:

Tom Perrotta's books (including "Election", which was the basis for the acclaimed Reese Witherspoon film of the same name) have nearly all been discounted to 99p, and pretty much all over the place; here's the Kobo link:

http://www.kobobooks.com/search/sear...erating&g=both

but they're probably available at your favourite UK ePub retailer

Also, "perennial contender for the Nobel Prize in Literature" John Banville's award-winning The Untouchable is going for just £1:

@ Mr Teatime. Got two of the Ken Follett's to try. Was also able to use a couple of the current discount codes (c4auto45 & c4auto40). So two books for £1.15. Bargain

Thanks MrT - by the way, those RSC texts are the business, excellent.
And the Conor Macarthy, a steal - but am I up to reading it again yet ? It's only been 3 years..... Wonderful book, yet... so, so hard.... but magnificent.

Going back to the RSC Shakespeare books: BooksOnBoard now has them for the cheapest price I've ever seen (£2.89 - £3.38) :

http://www.booksonboard.com/index.ph...0rasmussen&s=0

e:

Screw it - that's my trigger point, I guess Just bought the 10 remaining ones I wanted for a total of £27.39 (you get an extra £2 off if you spend over £17!), plus £1.70 added to my rewards
