Because that will help them get their business back? The sad thing, is that someone could look at that and decide not to shop at any other Borders (or Borders affiliate) anywhere.

I doubt that. The meaning, I think, is pretty clear: You'll regret not having physical stores... deal. Bitter, but true.

Oh, I get their point, I'm just saying someone could be offended by it, and choose to "boycott", on principle. I know - I have one in my extended family. She can be a little boycott crazy at times.

I don't think Borders can legitimately claim that Amazon is the cause of its problems.

I wonder if a hundred years ago stores that sold buggy whips and paraphernalia put up signs that said:
No Restrooms. Try the Ford dealership. |

I suppose if bathrooms were the only reason people went into their store, they would close--or start charging for the bathroom.
I don't know why I would regret their closing, especially with that attitude. |

I took it to mean Borders doesn't sell restrooms but Amazon does.

They have no sense of irony, do they?
Borders and B&N drove thousands of small booksellers out of business, now it's their turn. I also doubt they tore out their restrooms. |
