Multi part audio book to kindle-How?
I have an audio book that is in disk "image" format...in other words, its a series of disks, each in a subdiretory with multiple parts in MP3 ... so a main directory for the book then subdirectories representing "CD"s and multiple files in each subdir with segments of that "cd" .
How do I transfer this to the kindle so that it plays as it should? John |

You should probably ask that in the Kindle forum. This forum is for discussions about Calibre.

Sorry, I thought that the process of transferring it from my PC where' it's in MP3 format into my Kindle in a form it can be used, was handled by Calibre....

For ebooks, yes. I believe it doesn't support audio books.

Calibre has no support for audio books. You can put them into calibre as if they were an ebook but otherwise they are not supported. Calibre does not recognize any audio format as being valid for a device.
