Bill Skippers is innocent!
Please let's have some more votes for "American Notes", by the way; a truly excellent book. |

Not sure if this will still be available at the end of the voting, what books they have or whether this is available outside of North America (or even Canada) but BooksonBoard has a "Crosbyonboard" special of 22% off all non-fiction books - which seems timely given this months category. Go Sidney Go!

More interesting (to me) is how Bob changed the text of the poll - how do you edit that? |

The Poll Fairy was also lurking.
I'm pushing for The World Without Us, btw, since I've already read On the Origin of Species in my undergrad days. |

I've read some reviews of that book and some articles by the author that lead me to believe it would be an excellent choice for the March selection!

There's an ongoing NatGeo series based on it and there was a stand alone documentary a while back, too. It's fascinating stuff and it's been on my TBR list for quite a while.

Well if we want to be pedantic it's actually:
On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. but... For the sixth edition of 1872, the short title was changed to The Origin of Species. Per wikipedia |
