Here some pictures.
In notepad is the problem solved regarding to each page twice. Second picture is the default letter type from Jinke. edit. "Attribute set" picture added. edit. Taken one -r- out off the word necessarry in fourth picture. edit. Added fifth picture made via Wordpad. The Oldehove Leeuwarden Netherlands. A Gothic building AD 1529. The structure leaned over from the start, they tried to redress it, to no avail. The project is never finished. Last edited by sjaaks V8; 09-15-2006 at 05:32 PM. |

A double picture of the first page from Robinson Crusoe. On the right side you see the default Font which comes with the Hanlin V8. On the left I have taken The Arial Font to the reader.
edit. Added second picture. On the left Georgia Font (18 pt. on notepad) and default Font Hanlin V8 on the right. Note that the screen of the Hanlin is 9 cm wide. edit. Added third picture. On the left Arial Narrow (36 pt. on notepad) and default Font V8 on the right. It can even bigger as shown. Excerpt from Edgar Allan Poe. edit. Added fourth picture with Chinese characters between Arial narrow 20pt. on notepad. From Wikipedia. edit. Added fifth picture with even bigger Font. Georgia 48 pt. in Wordpad this time. Looking for the best way to hold the Hanlin reader.
Hand mostly resting on table or lap. Text on the screen copied from Wikipedia wikimedia commons. Pasted into notepad with Arial 24pt, printed to the SD card and put in the V8 reader. edit. Fifth picture added. Last edited by sjaaks V8; 10-07-2006 at 02:16 AM. |

Some pictures of the Hanlin V8 screen. Nearly all the usable Fonts in wordpad.
edit. Picture added. I go for the "Arial narrow" in the ~000 0340.jpg picture, second line. A hunger Artist. Easy to read. edit. Last picture added. Font Arial narrow on the whole page. On the little screen (90mm wide) you can read a lot before turning the page. edit. The pictures are not in the right order, something has changed it, sorry for that. @sjaaks V8
you are doing a great job of reviewing the Hanlin V8/lbook here, could you perhaps move your posts to the "V8 review" sticky? That way, more people would find it. Thanks. Keep up the good work. It is very much appreciated!!! https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...4&page=1&pp=15 |
