Right that looks like it. Odd that the section says it is for Kobo and Pocketbook.
Suspend is a kinda temporarily turn off, without exiting KOReader. You can directly return from that, with the page just as you left it, with one action, a quick start, if you like. That is with Kobo devices. The screensaver is just something, often the book cover or first page, placed on the screen while the device is "sleeping" / in suspend mode. KOReader has a number of ways to provide an image for this purpose. But you can make it so none of the images or a message box, are placed over the current page when going into suspend. That is if the Pocketbook version remains in KOReader during suspend. Luck; Ken |

@KenMaltby
The power event handling there is for Pocketbook and Kobo, but only Kindle and Kobo return true for Device:supportsScreenSaver(). Until someone implements screensaver handling on Pocketbook (if possible at all?) it'll probably only respond to power off events. Last edited by Frenzie; 09-09-2017 at 07:58 AM. Reason: grammar |

You mean when I lock the screen. The screensaver shows up, but not always. More often I have the current page with Pocketbook's screenlock logo over it.
Does Ken Maltby mean that it's possible to set the current page as the unchanged display at screenlock? |

Just what we need another term for suspend/sleep, screenlock.
With the Kobo version the KOReader developers made their own "screensaver" function to provide for the display of an image or message, and call the system suspend function, in the power management. It sounds like Pocketbook handles that as your "Screenlock". For the Kobo version you can basically tell it to not overlay an image and comment out where it would have displayed a message box, resulting in the current page remaining displayed as it is.
