Better late then never
Hi,
I also made the translation to Portuguese (Isn't it the lazy that works twice? Note to self: search the Forum FIRST, stupid!), and updated the files in the JeffElkins' program PRSCustomizer. I added a Portuguese section right after the Spanish one because it was from there that I copied the XML code. I tested in my PRS and so far so good (no brick!). I uploaded (AFAIK, virus-free) only the files I modified, named after the folders where they were (the files in PRSFILES.RAR go in the Prsfiles folder and so on). The language (Português (BR)) doesn't show in the PRSCustomizer Language drop menu, but I chose the option All, and in the About screen was able to select it. Hope you enjoy. void Indigo |

Thanks Porcupan ! I used the customizer prior this and did not get any result with localisation. Actually I did not try looking in "about + #1).. may be it did work..???
changing the logo did work! I just used your software and I finally have the localisation done. exepted that in Russian the fonts are just squares. how can I add cyrillic font to this and keeping all languages? You mention a link for an image with built in Cyrillic inicode (does not work) but if I flash the previous image with this one, will I loose my other languages too>???? |

Hi, PJ45
Yes, the files in the zips replace the ones with the same names. I named the zips after the folders where they are supposed to be. To be on the safe side, you can first rename the existing ones (I add an .old sufix, because I'm very creative) and then unzip the new ones. Flash the 505 and, with any luck, you'll have the Português language. []´s void Indigo |
