Editing a non-DRM .lrf?
I have some books with spelling mistakes in non-DRM .lrf format on my Sony PRS505 and I was wondering what you would recommend to use/do to correct these errors. Since I am new to eBooks, I would like to ask for step-by-step instructions.
Firstly, I want to retain any inherent formatting, chapters and TOC that the book currently possesses. I am not trying to alter the position of chapters, just correct the spelling mistakes. I do not need to change the fonts. I have to do all of this on a Mac under Leopard. I have Calibre and Stanza on my desktop. If it helps, the books are also available in html, rtf and other formats because they are all currently from the Baen Free Library. Thanks in advance, Daniel. |

It would probably be easier to edit the RTF or HTML copy, then use calibre to convert the file to LRF.

Thanks.
I finally managed to get lrf2lrs working and corrected the couple of errors, but for larger edits, yes, html/rtf will be easier. |
