Best Dictionary for KOReader
I’m mostly enjoying using KOReader on my Libra 2, but the lack of a dictionary is killing me. I’m wondering what you all suggest for the best comprehensive dictionary for the device? I only read English.
Also, is there anything like Xray for Kindle devices available on a Kobo? I’d love something that would help me remember who a character is while I’m reading. |

I use Wiktionary on koreader these days, which can be downloaded in stardict format. For remembering character names, I usually just select the name and then search for the first occurrence in the book.

The best dictionary is, as with all best things, very subjective.
I downloaded various dictionaries from http://download.huzheng.org/ some time ago. Right now this site doesn't seem to work. If one reads lots of special literature (like for example papers of virology or medicine) with lots of specialist terms most dictionaries are rather useless, though. But then I usually use the Librera app for PDFs and not KOreader, and there I can use the Linguee app (for tranlation into my mother tongue [offline or online]) or Wikipedia. |

There are hundreds of dictionaries you can download from within KOReader.
Top menu -> Spy Glass -> Settings -> Dictionary Settings -> Download dictionaries You can download and use multiple at once. |

Tar files must be decompressed using 7-Zip software, via its graphics window, then WinRar. |
