In some ways, good news. They became aware of the breach on Sept. 6 and instead of the usual CYA let's sit on it until we have finished our investigation, they are notifying people.
The last data breach that I was informed of, it took close to 4 months from when the breach was discovered to when the customers were informed. Made me feel happy that I was using different and complex passwords for all my accounts. |
