Batteries and Capacitors mostly follow the 80% (taper) curve rule.
The last 20% takes the longest, which is why you will hear advice for those Fast Charging EV's to unplug at 80% (and let someone else use the charger). That last 20% takes as long as the first 80. There are tricks to force a faster charge, but as with many tricks, there are risks (and most are NOT nice). Heat is the most common. OTOH Too Cold can slow it down. Absolutely ignore those Video ads where you see the charge bar visibly moving. If the video was not modified, the internal battery may have been replaced with something tiny (and cooled). Physics |
