Having installed the update on my device and read through some threads (https://papierlos-lesen.de/tolino-fi...chienen-70139/ being another German source), this seems to be the summary:

Fonts added:
Atkinson Hyperlegible
Noto Sans
Texturina
Ubuntu

Fonts removed:
Fira Sans
Source Sans
Droid Serif

Hidden menu that let you select the reading engine appears to have been removed

Some supposed stability improvements

Access to the Skoobe subscription book service added - unclear on which devices and which brandings, confirmed so far for thalia devices from the Vision 3 onwards.

Thanks for the news. Looks like they went away from Google for fonts. Doesn't really matter to me as I very rarely ever use the built-in fonts. At any rate the update (so far) seems to be a little "snappier."

I haven't had problems either. Got a notification on my Tolino a couple weeks ago that it was available, installed it, seems to work ok.

There is a hidden debug menu that you can finde by searching for “124816" in your Tolino device search. It will open up immediately.

Among others things, you can change the Reader Engine there.

There is also a possibility to make your Tolino respond faster by selecting ART instead of Dalvik in the Developer Options of the AOSP settings.
