Wireless sideload
Is there a way to sideload the H2O using the wireless ?
I am afraid of the cover of the USB connector, it looks good enough now, but it does not appear to be something which will last, and sooner or later might get loose or broken. In that case the problem is solved, and I can use the USB without any problem as in the other Kobo ereader, but I would like to make it last as much as possible. |

You can use the calibre content serve and the Kobo's web browser to download your books from computer to Reader over wifi. If you're only sharing over local network (and not trying to make it accessible over Internet,) it should be relatively straightforward, though would be best if the hosting computer is given a static IP address on the internal network.
Once Calibre content server is enabled, open the Kobo web browser and type in the URL: http://192.168.0.101:8080 (substitue the 192.168.0.101 with the correct ip address of your computer.) You can bookmark it to return quickly next time. |

If you have Koreader, the OPDS "Local calibre catalog" selection works fine without having to run a browser. Luck; Ken |

Not if you install it following the current instructions, where you make an ".adds" folder and place the koreader folder there instead of the old ".kobo" folder for everything. Luck; Ken |

The only problem is that the browser is flashing like crazy, it could be a problem of the actual release, I read it somewhere. But it is really neat ! |

Just FYI, you don't NEED specifically Calibre to sideload books via the "beta" web browser. The only thing you need to have is a web server holding the .epub files.
