SeaMonkey 2.3
The newest release of SeaMonkey 2.3 no longer considers ePubReader up to date.

Sorry for my late answer, I've been in vacation some days. I've update now the Seamonkey compatability on the Mozilla website. If you restart Seamonkey the next time, EPUBReader should be reenabled automatically.

They broke it again. Are you given notice when the break your code?

No they don't give notice. The problem is the new short release cycle of Firefox/Seamonkey. Before it took months until a new version was released which could possibly break an add-on, so there was enough time to test everything. Now it takes only a few weeks. For this reason Firefox has established an automatic add-on compatility check and pushes compatiblity if no problem occurs. For Seamonkey nothing similar exists. |

Thanks for the information, I updated the compatibility information again on addons.mozilla.org. If you restart Seamonkey, EPUBReader should be reenabled automatically.
Starting with Firefox 10 and I guess also with the next Seamonkey version, Firefox/Seamonkey assumes that an add-on is compatible by default, so I hope that this won't happen again. |
