Hi guys! Can anyone guide me on how to set the URL of a site with login and password? Note that the site is made with ASP, so setting h**p://userass@www.theurl.com doesn´t work. AvantGo supports forms, but is there a way I can do it with iSilo? I know iSilo can handle cookies, but will they be OK for leaving the user and pass stored?
Thanks for any help, I´m trying to get rid of AvantGo, trying to use the card to store the channels and use only iSilo! |

Did you check out the "Access" tab in iSiloX?

Yes. The problem is that the login on that server does not use HTTP authentication, the pages are ASP. I don´t see that option on iSilo. I guess there should be a workaround, but I don´t know how...
Thanks anyway! Anyone else has an idea? |

annubis, does the page "remember" your login after you have entered it once, ie does it use cookies?

The page uses cookies, once you login first, you don´t have to login again, that´s how I use it in AvantGo currently, tried to do it with iSilo, enabled cookies, on Access I set the user and pass (according to iSilo it´s for HTTP authentication, this site is made with ASP), converted again, but I get the same : the login page... :-(

It is not that easy. You must actually configure the cookies in iSiloX. I tried to explain it there: http://www.turcic.com/forums/showthr...=&threadid=258
Maybe that helps. Otherwise, why don't you tell me the site in question or write me a private message and I can try to help you figure it out. Alex |
