Yes I'm aware, but most of the time it is, and other files (such as Settings.toml) can be modified just fine while plato is running, as far as I've observed.

Love the simpler UI of plato compared to KOreader.

Is there a way to display the pages left in the chapter rather than the book? I have looked at both the settings and config file and it doesn't seem to be a feature yet.

Currently not an option. Me too, I'd love to see page turns left in chapter added to the book % progress when you bring up the menu. Or maybe when you turn the page there's a little pop up bubble (like what you see when downloading articles) to tell you where you are in chapter / book. Make it an option, of course, so people who don't like it can turn it off.

Im using a h20 with Plato

Is there anyway after having pressed a word and highlighted it to then be able to press the 'down button' to jump straight to define and then the 'up button' to go back to reading after?

Also,

As one user mentioned, when defining a plural it gives a definition that it is the plural of the word you really want to search for..

Anyway to search for singular definitions too when a plural has been defined?

When you tap in center to bring up the UI, at the bottom next to chapter name it says (xx.y%)

Dear Baskerville, after seeing the "official" Nia support in V0.9.26 I downloaded Plato (having previously used KOReader). WOW, Plato has such a nice simplified UI and it is so so fast compared to KOReader. What wonderful software, thank you so much!!!

I suppose what I was really asking is for something similar to the original Kobo style of having the dictionary pop up once the word was selected? Any chance of that being implemented?

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but has anyone been able to build Plato on an M1 Mac? I don't think the tool chain has been ported but maybe using Rosetta? I'm tempted to buy a mini to play with and one of the things I'd want to do is build Plato on it
