Praise to Guido for his work!
I noticed that the Huawei MatePad Paper from 2022 is missing. Since you also included some (reflective) LCD screens like the Hannspree HannsNote2 I wonder if you will include matte displays like TCL NXTPAPER, Huawei MatePad 11,5 S or Lenovo Tab P12 in future updates? Of course these are more tablets and or smartphones (TCL) than e-readers, but then the Hannspree HannsNote2 is also more a tablet than an e-reader. |

I only clicked the Display size header once to sort from small to large. Here's a screenshot that I just took.

Just finished a major update to the table. The table now contains over 200 devices total!
I've added: - All currently available Tolino models (as listed for sale by Tolino themselves) - Bookeen Notéa - Huawei MatePad Paper - Viwoods AiPaper and AiPaper mini - Meebook M6C and M103 - Readmoo - all 6 current devices - Hisense Touch (which is both an e-reader and a Hi-Res audio player) - Pocketbook Color note (announced, all specs are available but it's not for sale yet) As always, let me know if you're missing something that you want to see added! Apart from adding more devices, I added a new function; namely to only show the differences between two models in the side-by-side comparison tool. This makes it much easier to spot the differences between two products that have a lot of similarities. Here's an example with this option switched on with the new reMarkable Paper Pro vs the reMarkable 2: https://comparisontabl.es/e-readers/...sOnly=true#sbs Other than that, I've applied pagination to the table now. As the table was getting ridiculously large, it started causing a stuttering issue when scrolling (on mobile devices). Now the table will show 50 items a page by default, but you can increase this number if you want. With 50 items at a time, the stuttering issue seems to be resolved. Note that the filters, sorting, etc are still applied to all of the items in the table at once; so across all of the pages - not only the 50 being shown. So for instance, if the e-reader with the largest screen is on page 4 when it loads, it'll still show up on top on page 1 if you sort by screen size. Apart from all this, I've also been busy adding comparison tables on other subjects to the site. So if you like the comparison format of the site, then you might also be interested in some of the other tables. To name a few: cloud storage providers, JBL bluetooth speakers, and Breville Espresso machines. When it comes to mobile reading; I'll also be adding a comparison table for tablets soon. Quote:

A thing I could also look into, is the possibility to add cross-category (e-reader vs tablet) side-by-side comparisons to the site somewhere, to make it possible to compare devices from the e-reader table to devices in the upcoming 'tablet' table. But this will require a bit more coding. By the way, I just purchased a NxtPaper 11 myself! Huh. I think it's actually the HiSense A6L that's somehow breaking up the sorting function, as it doesn't have a straight number in this column (since it has two screens). Will think of how to best fix that. Will let you know if I've figured out a fix! Last edited by Guido; 09-12-2024 at 04:19 PM. |

Since my last post here, I've added the new Kindles to the table (and a size comparison here), as well as the newly released Boox devices (Note Air 4 C and Palma 2; still waiting on the full specs on the Note Max). |

The switch to Pearl screens must therefore have happened before the change to 4GB SD cards. That configuration might only have been made for a short period, but it was certainly produced. Unfortunately, I can't say when it was made because I bought mine secondhand (in May 2014, so it must have been before that). |
