Is there any tutorial on downgrading the firmware of Nook GL4+?

Just connected the nook to WiFi and it updated automatically. All options in developer mode are password protected now, try to chat with the B&N CS, they have no idea it's locked.

I hope to be able to install other apps. The native system is SOOOOOO difficult to use.

NOOK devices should not be purchased to install other apps. BN is locking down customization attempts on their NOOK product line. If you can return it, return it. If not, look on Reddit or XDA for advice, they have people are talented in such things. If you are not an Android developer, I recommend returning the NOOK asap if you're trying to use it for non-BN content/apps.

Thanks for the suggestion, I returned it.

I really can't stand to have the title stuck at the top when I'm reading, and the native system can't hide it.

Hi, for those that updated the password to access the developer options is "NOOK-BNRV1300" without the quotes, alternative for the glowlight 4 is "NOOK-BNRV1100" and for the glowlight 4E is "NOOK-BNRV1000"

Does it possible to get root on the glowlight plus through this code?
