I agree! (Ok, I misquoted you.)

Seriously, unless you have the front light set to "scorch my eyeballs", the current that it uses is in the noise floor.
I leave my front light on dim all the time. If it's dark, I notice it. If it isn't, I don't.
Ok, I have to use SPF90 sunscreen to protect me from the rays.

I have an update should be arriving tomorrow, before 8 pm.

Any concise instructions as what to if you might have the loader figured out.

I have small patch that I want to apply to boox for writing support for third party apps. If this works it might be really a great device.

Work till 16:30 so expect nothing before that.

We have one loader that seems to work ok, but doesn't seem to be able to write.
This could be something locked out, I'm not sure.

Then we have the older one that I patched around VIP, but that doesn't even seem to read.

Ah I see what do you mean by VIP? And it the problem resolvable?

Could you post the precise steps I need to do to trouble shoot? So I can start right a way. If its an easy write up.

Step
Code:
C:\>adb shell
$ cd /system/priv-app/OnyxOtaService/lib/arm64
$ cp libota_jni.so /sdcard
$ ^D
C:\>adb pull sdcard/libota_jni.so
And post that file. Was unable to get the file. Steps somewhat unclear as there is sdcard

Step
Code:
C:\>adb shell
$ cat proc/cpuinfo
Could you just chop down the x8 middle part to just one of them and post it here.

Code:
Go103:/ $ cat proc/cpuinfo

First of all, anything that mentions a file you must have downloaded that file already and put it in the current directory.

You have to load a loader first successfully.
If you haven't yet, you're going nowhere.
Code:
edl /lA235F_LOADER_BIT5_Alephgsm_com.elf
/l is the flag for the loader, A235... is the file.

Ok, I got a bit out of sync and confused because I read your quoting me, but not as quotes.

Some surprises here. Your Go103 has UFS, the GoCo7 is eMMC.
So this will give us a handle on some Firehose issues.

Was unable to get the file. Steps somewhat unclear as there is sdcard.
This has nothing to do with a physical SD card. It's just a directory.
You need to enable ADB under Developer settings, download "minimal ADB" and get this all working. Is this all new to you?
