Thanks, I'll have a look at those

Last night I finally got around to watching The Watchers, based on the book by A.M. Shine. I really enjoyed the book and I also enjoyed the movie, very atmospheric.

Moonflower was good but a little confusing. I was disappointed with Van der Valk at first but now through S4 it's not bad. S2 of Ridley is a little slow but OK. Next up will be Wagner Method, a Walter Presents from France.

Keeping fingers crossed for Prime's $1 channel deals for black Friday...

Watched the old film Kind Hearts and Coronets today.

Think I might try The Ladykillers next.

Have fond memories of watching those in the '70s on TV Ontario with Elwy Yost.

We watched Trap last night. It was okay, but we weren't wild about it. The idea was good, the execution less. It just wanted to do too much for one movie; there were three acts and the first one was the longest. If they've given each act about the same amount of time it might have worked. Also, IMHO, they gave away who was the bad guy too soon; if they kept that a secret longer the first half of the movie would have more suspense.
