Last Opened or Last Read

I'd like a column that I could use to sort books by the order they were opened, specifically I'd like to be able to see which books I was reading last.

I had a work-around using 'Last Modified' for a column but when I renamed that column the dates for all books changed to the current date.

Is it possible to create a column that will list the books in order they were opened or read?

Thank you. Since I'm limited in my technical skills regarding Calibre and plugins I'm going to use another simple solution. I found the Date column can be used to accomplish my goals. It's not as good a solution as the plugin but works. Thank you again.

Here's a brief description of what I did to get this working in case anyone is as clueless as me.

1 - Install the JobSpy Plugin from within Preferences > Advanced > Plugins
2 - Set the flag 'Activate' within the JobSpy plugin
2 - Create a custom colum from Preferences > Interface > Add your own columns
