Canada vs US (amazon.ca vs .com) ebooks
I live in Canada, but when I bought my first Kindle over a decade ago I linked my device to an American Amazon.com account. I don't recall the exact reason, but that's what was recommended at the time. There was perhaps better selection or prices on .com at that time.
These days I find that the selection on Amazon.ca is just as good as .com and the prices are usually actually lower (when adjusted for exchange rate). Should I be switching to Amazon.ca, and if I do so will I still be able to read my previously-purchased books on my Kindle? |

While I still have an Amazon.com account, I am not allowed to purchase ebooks on it since my shipping address is in Canada. I still have a few books that are on my Amazon.com contents page but they are decades old now.
