"Finished reading?" prompt - Page 2

What does that configuration change actually do? Is it setting the last shown date to something far in the future?

The original explanation did have something to do with dates. I added those lines to my Kobos beginning 2+ years ago, and have not seen any popups since.

I keep my running future reading list of 50+ books at 1% read and color coded in calibre. That would have resulted in a lot of popups over time. But they are forever out of sight and out of mind.
