Thank you.
I delete the plugboard and simply send the book to the device. I forgot that I need to connect the kobo reader once more to Calibre to update metadata. Now the book list show what I want. Thank you again. Last edited by giododa; 08-31-2024 at 08:14 AM. |

As noted, you miss some metadata, so it depends on how important it is to have that up to date. I have the feeling the three of us have had this conversation more than once. |

Very likely since we all seem to want different information in our libraries. For me, the metadata I want is only available using the second connect since the database entries in which the metadata is stored are not created until the import after the first connect eject. Since my TBR list is very short maxing out around 5 books, I do not want to wait for the next first connect to update that metadata.

Doesn't everybody do that? The only question is if you toggle the auto usb gadget on/off.

For me, eject, wait for import to complete, tap on NickelMenu => USB connect, let the connection run and when job count reaches 0, safely eject. |

In my case, that won't do as I delete the description as in most cases the description contains bits of review and also mostly it's incomplete. So I dump the description from the OPF in those cases. |
