Awoke to -14 F. It's made it all the way to -5 in about 3 hours.

We had snow Sunday evening and the polar vortex weather started Monday. It was sub 20 for a few days (F.). The past two days it got up to 31 for a little while in the afternoon. Currently 23 degrees F. at 4AM. Might get up to 31 in the afternoon.

It's still gray with the occasional shower at the moment (11am). But the sun should dry up in a couple of hours and the sun might occasionally appear this afternoon. It's 6℃ already but tonight it'll cool down to around freezing again.

We briefly reached 42°F Sunday afternoon. It was sunny and a bit breezy, but I was still able to enjoy some time on the deck. It has been a cold week by "mid-Atlantic states" standards, so nearly all of the snow we got on Monday is still around, and it hasn't frozen over or packed down.

Hit 7°C here (~45°F). A nice sunny day though the price for that is hitting near -3°C overnight.
Not sure that I would trade for 42°C as the high. Too warm for me. |

Lovely weather here. It's a winter warm-up; clear, low humidity, and highs of 26-28 C. Should last through the week.
