HELP! Lost the view panels of "edit book"

So I was messing around with the appearance of the 'edit book' external window and lost all the panels. Now, I cannot see anything. Can anyone please explain how to undo this and recover the different view compartments?

Alt-V : then tick File Browser and Table of Contents

(I guess MACs don't have a Menu bar) V for View on windows

Let me ask you one more question.

Do you know why, when you re-enable the 'Preview' panel under 'View,' it now opens in a new window rather than in the corner, i.e., incorporated into the main Edit Book window?

Drag it to where you want it or double click on it's title bar to redock it?
