My guess is that because Georgia was already installed, it was left there instead of removed.

If you go to the system fonts folder inside the kobo directory (/usr/local/Trolltech/QtEmbedded-4.6.2-arm/lib/fonts/), you'll find the system fonts in there.

I can't remember which one is the system font, but you can change it with Georgia by renaming the ttf file and replace it. I've done that many times to get rid of sans-serif fonts.
