Here's a thing, I've been happily using 5.4.4.21 for however long, and it's been working up to now. I just got a new tablet and installed it, and I'm going to cry. IT doesn't recognize my e-reader apps. It also refuses to see the backup file that i'm trying to use to restore my settings. Boo. Hoo.

It's quite likely that the issue is newer version of Android have changed dramatically how applications interact with files / other apps, and that your newer devices are using a much newer version of Android than your old devices and .... need I say more.

If only Sam and his "developer" would respond to people, or even just take the app off the app store.
