The css with @page also had a body with the same margins (I should have mentioned that). The main css did not contain either of these. Both css files were linked and these were the only two css.
In any event, I wonder why these weren't taken into account in the editor's Live CSS. After all, they were clearly reflected in the preview pane. |

As I mentioned, I think the live CSS is showing you what is happening in the container with the rules that apply within the container while the @page directive is setting the container.
Personally, I dump any @page (and most other @ rules) as part of my initial cleanup of an ebook since @page is intended for print media. |
