Real Hero
I've enjoyed reading for so long, that several months ago I thought I'd try writing.
Looking for a fresh take on the superhero genre that combines the best elements of espionage thrillers with superhuman abilities? Meet Dave Anderson, an ordinary man who discovers he's bulletproof, superhumanly strong, and capable of impossible feats. But unlike typical superhero stories, this series dives deep into the world of international intrigue, where Dave and his elite team of operatives take on arms dealers, corporate conspiracies, and environmental disasters. From the dangerous pipelines of Turkey to hidden Nazi enclaves in the Brazilian jungle, each book ratchets up both the action and the stakes. What sets this series apart is its grounded approach to an extraordinary premise. Dave isn't a costume-wearing vigilante – he's a covert operative who has to use his abilities strategically while navigating complex geopolitical situations. Whether he's preventing a water crisis between India and Pakistan or exposing a quantum computing scheme that could crash global cryptocurrency markets, the challenges feel real and immediate. The series also features a fantastic supporting cast, including the brilliant tech expert Anya, the enigmatic operative Serj, and a recurring nemesis in Grigory, a scarred Russian operative who becomes increasingly dangerous with each encounter. The series grows more compelling with each book as Dave's abilities and challenges evolve. While he starts as someone struggling to accept his powers, by later books he's confronting enhanced Nazi super-soldiers and discovering new abilities like electricity absorption. But what really makes these books addictive is how they blend action, espionage, and character development – you'll find yourself invested not just in the high-stakes missions, but in the personal struggles and team dynamics that make each victory feel earned. If you enjoy authors like Brad Thor and Tom Clancy but wish their books had a superhuman edge, this series is exactly what you've been looking for. The books are free to download to read, and distribute to your friends and family. https://realhero.uk |
