I have pushed a fix that has been accepted that avoid unnecessary rescan of library after each sync.
https://github.com/fsantini/KoboCloud/issues/172
A new release is available and it solved my issue so far.

I had a few, hopefully not dumb, questions:

1. With this setup, I just add or delete epubs in the corresponding online service folder and the files sync to the Kobo?

2. Does it interfere with normal syncing with Calibre?

3. Where do I access the files, just the normal Library. Id there a way to keep them seperate like Pocket is?

Yes (sync deleted is optional)

Books goes in the main kobo book library : the same as the one you push with Calibre client via USB or the one you purshase on kobo store or the one you sideload copying by hand the EPUB via USB
But internally they are stored in the .add folder. So EPUB files themselves are not mixed with the others sources. But you see/open/read them in the same library list on the kobo than the others. Not like Pocket.
Maybe You could use «*collections*» to separate them in the kobo library.

I have a problem with dropbox authorization, click on link, then I click accept, then copy the command and paste in windows powershell or command prompt but after click enter I have error, SED not recognized.

Another problem, cover not showed from pcloud imported eBooks.

Works like a charm on my Clara-HD.
I am using Google Drive to sync books.

Only question I have is:
Why can't I see the bookcovers from the synced books?
The books ar downloaded and put in the directory '. add/KobCloud/Library'.
My guess is it's because it is a hidden directory.
But on the other hand: the reader notices the files (the books are in 'My Books'), but somehowe the covers are not visible.

If I copy the books to my "normal" directory: the bookcovers re-appear.
But I don't want to keep doing that, because that...requires using an USB-connection.

Is there any method for getting the covers visible from the synced books?
- Some adjustment in a config file anywhere?
- Or can I change the directory '.add' to just 'add' to make it visible (etc.)
I don't mind if it's visible or not: why should it be hidden in the first place?
- Other options?

Otherwise: many thanks for making this nice piece of software.
Great addition for my 'old' Clara-HD !!

I don’t have this problem. Cover included in the EPUB file is visible when importing via kobocloud…. Are t’your cover embedded in the EPUB file (not in a separate jpg or png file ) ?
You can also try to convert the EPUB to the kobo EPUB format with kepubify utility before copy them in the cloud drive.

Thank you 'o_spring'.

The cover is embedded in the epub.
I tested your suggestion of conversion.
And that works !
Thank you very, very much !!!
