Blackfish City by Sam J. Miller is $2 at Amazon, B&N and Kobo. I've not read it, but I enjoyed Miller's novella Let All the Children Boogie.

The Lord of the Rings Illustrated is on sale at Kobo for $1.99.
I suggest you do not buy this from Amazon as Amazon plays games with image heavy books and you'll most likely end up with a book with reduced size images. If you want to read this on a Kindle, get the ePub and convert. Quote:

The Great When: A Long London Novel by Alan Moore is $7 at Amazon (only)
$7 is steep for a discount, but it's the cheapest the book has been offered and I've been looking forward to it (and have enough Amazon credits that the book is 'free'). For Moore, this looks to be a more mainstream novel. Quote:

I haven't read any of Alan Moore's prose works yet, even though I bought both Jerusalem and Illuminations. Obviously a huge fan of his comic works...I bought his Marvelman/Miracleman and Captain Britain runs on a Marvel sale over Christmas, and both of those were excellent.
