This will show you what the error is. given what you said that you see the "all done" message fast, it's most likely a python error that is causing the command to fail immediately. this python error will be shown on the command line.

I install python 2.7 and 3 and
After I create collection from calibre and moved to kindle
I open librarysync and do update collections calibre plugin
Message show up librariansync updating collection calibe....
It been seen for some time
Then librariansync done in xxxx
And nothing show in collection ever
I will try what you advice

There was a quirk with python installation. Search around this thread, people suggested workarounds

Have you tried creating collections on Calibre and then in your Kindle menu actually showing those collections (filters might have been set not to show collections).
I ask because my kindle is jailbroken, in a fairly recent fw version, and the plugin has this quirk... I press "update [or create] collections on Kindle", and... it sits there.
But if you exit KUAL and look your collections they are there and working. With newest fw there is this quirk where the update plugin does not terminate as it should, but actually creates collections

can you describe exactly by step
what i should do
and when i choose show collection folder created name unlocated

if you don't see anything with 1 collection and just a few (1 to 5) books, then I would try reinstalling the python libraries

if that does not help, you should next run it from a ssh console command. I have the command to run in the link below. that should make it very clear what the error is. As I mentioned earlier, it's almost impossible to debug it via the user interface.

"Nothing".
I mean, you just install the plugin as per official instructions.
When you have transferred new collections to Calibre you open Kual and run the plugin. It will seem it does not work (it says "Processing" and never ends), but it actually does: if you exit KUAL and show collections you'll see that everything is there

Hello,

I jailbreaked my KOA2 this afternoon. Then I installed KUAL and LibrarianSync using the librariansync-20201109.tar.gz from the first post. (I also installed Python3)
But it does nothing. :-(

For example I click "Delete all collections"
A check appears at the left

✓ Delete all collections

A the bottom of the screen, it also says "Deleting all collections...."

But I can let it run for 10minutes, it does nothing. (and then I checked, not a single collection is deleted).

What do I miss ? Is there another step ?

EDIT: I found my problem. I installed python3. I didn't think it would still need python2 too (tootoo)
