too few hours of reading in KOReader
My Kobo Sage is capable of 13 hours of reading in native Nickel UI, but only 5 hours of reading in KOReader
* What is the reason?

I'd suggest searching the KOReader forum on MobileRead for battery; it's a fairly common topic there.

Have you checked the auto-standby settings?

Settings (cog/gear icon) > Device > Auto-standby settings

I checked yesrerday 'Autostandby timeout' and agreed with the default 4 sec value.

Now I see that 'Estimated remaining time' changed from 5-6 hours to 8-9.
