If you didn't bite at $2.99, The Dirty Duck is now $1.99 at Kindle US, but sadly, not price-matched at Kobo US. Unless, of course, you do the price-matching yourself via Kobo's price match program....

The link below is still good.

They say you can't put it down, so I would suggest taking a shower before opening the book. Dressing will also pose a problem.

I love love love The Laughter of Dead Kings, which is the sixth and final book in Elizabeth Peters' Vicky Bliss series. It's on sale right now in the US for $1.99.

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015DROA0
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/the...-of-dead-kings

Spoiler:
Quote:
New York Times bestselling Grand Master Elizabeth Peters—author of the thrilling fictional exploits of archaeologist Amelia Peabody in the Land of the Pharaohs—brings back beautiful, brainy art expert and sometime sleuth Vicky Bliss for one last adventure in The Laughter of Dead Kings. The incomparable Peters sends Vicky and her colorful entourage racing across modern-day Egypt to investigate the brazen theft of one the ancient desert land’s most priceless treasures. Smart, funny, evocative, and suspenseful, The Laughter of Dead Kings is a fond and fitting farewell to the ever-delightful Vicky…and a superior mystery fit for a King Tutankhamen.

Is Joffe one of those publishers that put a lot of extranious verbiage into ebook title metadata? (I'm curious enough to ask, but not to download and examine.)

A year-and-a-half later, A Gentle Murderer is $0.50 at Kindle US, but not on sale at Kobo US. The link below is still good...

It's on sale right now in the US for $1.99, and it's discountable at Kobo US. Note that there are two versions - this is the Open Road version, and not the Poisoned Pen Press/Library of Congress one, so check the price carefully before you buy.

Jonathan Kellerman should know better than to title a book simply, Mystery, thus making it pretty much impossible to search for. But, he did - it's the twenty-sixth in his Alex Delaware series, and it's on sale right now in the US for $1.99.

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004IPP8TQ
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/mys...delaware-novel

Spoiler:
Quote:
The closing of the grand old Fauborg Hotel in Beverly Hills is a sad occasion for longtime patrons Alex Delaware and Robin Castagna, who go there one last time for cocktails. But even more poignant—and curious—is a striking young woman in elegant attire and dark glasses, alone there and waiting in vain. Two days later, police detective Milo Sturgis comes seeking his psychologist comrade’s insights about a grisly homicide. To Alex’s shock, the brutalized victim is the same beautiful woman whose lonely hours sipping champagne at the Fauborg may have been her last. But when a sordid revelation finally cracks the case open, the secrets that spill out could make Alex and Milo’s best efforts to close this crime not just impossible but fatal.

I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer to that question.
