Remove Books > Restore Recently Deleted > Permanently delete after... has an option to set it 'on close' which is the closest thing to disabling it entirely. not sure what version added this specific option.
Calibre trash has saved me from more than a few thick-finger mistakes, especially when merging books in the wrong order. |

Assuming there is no way to get things into caltrash other than by using one of calibre's Remove Books options it makes sense, to me at least, to have the management of caltrash as a Remove Books option.
Edit: If there are other ways (owb's post #16 suggests Merge might put things there) then maybe it should be a separate tool. The option "Restore recently deleted" might be better if it were something like "Manage recently removed (caltrash)". BR Last edited by BetterRed; 06-25-2024 at 08:26 PM. |
