Amazon gives the customer control over which font they want to use for reading, one big advantage of e-books over print. The reader can select “Publisher font” if they want to use whatever font was chosen by the publisher, but I suspect most prefer their own favorite font instead. I know I do.

My Kindle does not offer that option, but it does include a Palatino option, which is the font I am using for the text.

I tried setting images to either 50% or 100%, and I hate it. I hope I can figure this one out.

I'm asking similar questions on the KDP forums and people there are confirming that different models of Kindles handle images differently, and some do not recognize the % settings for size.

I guess the ebook industry is still in its DOS days.

Sorry for dropping out of the discussion. Life's distractions.

Thanks for all the help. I approached this as if an ebook was like a book but learned it wasn't, not quite anyway.

The ebook is now done, as are the paperback and hardback versions.
