My favorite, however, is The Mailman. (Think The Cable Guy without the overt humor. Since I'm somewhat demented in what I find humorous, I find the book hilarious in its implications.) ADDED: I read Ayn Rand's book years ago and enjoyed it. Although, at 'only' about 1/3 in length compared to Atlas Shrugged, it failed to keep the door open when I created an intentional draft to cool off the house during a hot day. (I have yet to read Atlas Shrugged, but I do intend to do so.) Last edited by Dr. Drib; Yesterday at 07:43 AM. |

Then I read Starter Villain by John Scalzi in one go. Brilliant. Just a delightful read. And now I'm giving Scarlet by Genevieve Cogman a go. A recent freebie, I've enjoyed her Invisible Library series, so I'll ses how her French Revolution with Vampires series starts. |

Don't laugh, but started reading my Alfred Hitchcock and The Three Investigators books.
They are quick and simple reads. |

Next up: Dead Souls by Ian Rankin. The tenth in his Inspector Rebus series. A random pick from my TBR pile. |

I am laughing, but at myself rather than at you. I converted the ones written by Robert Arthur to epubs for myself about ten or more years ago. That's where I learned that proofreading kills my desire to re-read that book for a long time. Hopefully I can join you in re-reading them myself at some point before I die
