Okay, I should have explained it in more detail right away.
I want to add a start date with 0% to my 100% books without having to temporarily change any columns, or at least to have to change them as less as possible

Thanks for your useful plugin, I use syncthing to sync my calibre library between two computers, if the plugin data is located in the same path as the library, it would be great, thanks!

Well, there is no easy way. You have two options:

1) Change it manually, deleting the existing records and creating new ones by changing your #read column, for every book
2) Edit the JSON directly, like @ownedbycats said. If you have a lot of books to change, this might be easier, but also more dangerous. Be sure to backup your database before editing it.

Unfortunately, it's not about the library path. The database is tied to a particular library_id, which will change from one computer to another.

I have deleted the database to add the read start with 0% afterwards.
With chaley's help and search & replace it also worked easily.

Now the problem comes.
All the new date entries in Calibre have a 00:00:00 CEST. I now have a timeshift of -1 day.

Edit: A book about the turn of the year will not be moved to the next year. It remains ‘Want to read’ 2017.. Once again ignoring the difference between annual overview and all

Edit2: What am I doing wrong, no reread counter?



Edit3: I saw another thread and it looks like the timeshif is a DST thing. Does somebody know to change the 00:00:00?

Here's how it works: on the first day of a new year, your reading/want-to-read books will migrate to the following year's goal. This migration happens on your first interaction with the plugin in the following year. It doesn't work if you edit the goal now.
